Happy New Year From Faraja!

Faraja students enjoyed a 5-week holiday break and then returned to school and a new academic year this month. The children are always excited to get back to school to be with their friends and continue rehabilitation which includes physical therapy, exercise, and play.

Class 7 Spotlight

Saluting our Class 7 students during their final year at Faraja

This will be an important year for the 26 students in Class 7 as they prepare for the PSLE (Primary School Leaving Exam) and graduation in September. Antony and Elia, two of our Class 7 students, are highlighted here.

Antony and Elia have osteogenesis imperfects (brittle bone disease).

Since arriving at Faraja, they have undergone several orthopedic surgeries to correct bone deformities. These successful surgeries, followed by physical therapy, have resulted in dramatically improved strength and mobility.

Antony is charming and talkative. He likes to tell stories to his classmates and can always be found in the middle of the action.

Elia is also very charming and a bright student who enjoys playing games and is well liked by his classmates.
