Thank You for Your Generosity!

Thanks to generous donors like you, a record-breaking $300,000+ was raised in Faraja Fund Foundation's 2022 annual campaign! Your donations not only help to operate the school, they also support graduates like Glory and Ackley, featured below, who are making the most of their opportunities. Read about their progress since leaving Faraja.

Glory Massawe is a 2012 graduate of Faraja. She went to secondary school and after she completed secretarial training and computer science studies in college, Faraja provided her with a desktop computer and printer for her new business where she designs and prints documents for her customers. Glory's income supports her family and allows her to repay a business loan. She's working hard to expand her business and we're so proud of her success!

Akley Exavery, pictured with former Faraja Primary School Director William Kivuyo, graduated in 2008. Following secondary school and technical training in college, he was able to open his own workshop in Moshi in 2016 thanks to the donation of machinery (a compressor and grinder) by the Faraja Fund Foundation.

Akley has been so successful that he was able to purchase an additional compressor to increase productivity. Akley's business allows him to support his wife and child as well as purchase school supplies for his younger siblings. He is looking for space for a larger workshop to expand his business!
